Electrical issues
2000 Expedition, 5.4, 2WD. Does the front windshield seal have leaking problems on these models? It is raining in California today, lights are on, put it in drive and the radio goes out. Put it in neutral and radio comes back on, back to drive and radio goes off. I looked under the dash and saw drops of water and I may be shorting out. I won't know if this is the problem until it stops raining and dries out under the dash. Appears to be alot of electronics on the steering column and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Yes, there is a pattern of reports of the windshields leaking on the F150/Expy platform.
Often, the leaks result in needing the GEM module and in some cases, the fuse panel replaced. Reports of repair costs of up to $1000 have been seen.
Do get it repaired ASAP and hope for the best.
