Question Frame Rust

i just got an 88 f 150 given to me. it has the 300 six 2x4 reg cab long bed 5 sp mazda tranny 3.55 gears xlt lariat trim. very nice truck. the problem is that the the truck had obviously sat for some time and the frame is pretty rusted. not to the point yet where it is detrimental to the truck, but id like to keep it from getting to that stage.

what are the best ways to stop/fix frame rust, so that is doesnt get any worse?

Used to be called Extend under the 3M and Permatex label. Good stuff and not as expensive as POR-15. http://www.por15.com/

well, get yourselft a wire wheel and a drill or grinder, and go at it. then get some good undercoating and do it all up.

Nice gororge! Think you can sandblast a frame while the truck is still attached to it?
