I always have that code when I pull them. I've replaced the map sensor and checked everything else. Plenty of boost, no cat, large exhaust and good intake. It's still there and there is nothing wrong with the truck. Truck runs fine, I just ignore that code...
Running bad when cold? Could just be you EBPV kicking in, warming the truck and making it feel like you are loosing power.
No its not the epbv its not working very good it just starts to activate then goes back off. and the lack of power is a very bad miss like running on 4 with no power barely will rev to 2000 and it takes 5 seconds to get it there check engine light is on then if its reved up for a bit and you let off it goes out and like you flipped a switch its got it all back and runs like a wild animal again. The problem is only when cold if its been run and is hot its fine. It helps to keep rpms up when cold it dosent get so severe and corrects sooner. I am thinking hpop is going bad maybe. Been thinking of adding some lucas stabilizer is seen how it stopped a small engine from burning oil it sealed it up and it runs like new again. If i do i will have to remove some oil cause i thought it was low and added some now i am just over a tad truck was on slight slope and i forgot and added some
it really dosent use any in 5000 miles between changes and its rotella 15/40
and i keep it plugged in in cold weather.
i got a code finally its P 0236 turbo boost sensor A circuit pref. whats that?
it runs bad when cold and rarely dose it when hot. if i rev it upit will be ok most of the time when it drops back to idle speed.

You say it runs bad when it's cold. What is cold? If it's below freezing it could be water in the fuel filter. If you mean on the first startup of the day it could the oil in the Hi pressure oil pump is draining out.
If it's below freezing I would they changing the oil to 5 - 40 full synthetic.
How long does it run this way? Maybe it is running on 4. If the glow plugs are not working on one side it would run pretty rough until those cylinders warmed up.
Well it is cold as in been off all night and just is plugged in. and it will run fine at start for a few seconds and then all of a sudden cel comes on and it starts stumbling bad so bad if you floor it it will take 5 or more seconds to get it to rev to 2000 and to moove it in granny is really close to stalling. Today it never did it yesterday it did it 4 times in first 5 mins then it was fine rest of day. that makes it hard to believe its burnt wiring it seems if i start it and keep rpms at 1800 or so for a few mins at start it wont do it.
well normally it smokes a good bit since i have it on the high hp setting on scmt but no real smoke when its missing its very clear like no feul is being delivered. when its normal it smokes alot for first min or 2 till it gets warm but it it hasn't much lately.
last week when it started i changed fuel filter maybe lift pump is bad or hpop is failing it was coming anf going at a whim at times. very eratic 2 days it was flawless and now today it was bad tonight.
I could be CPS going out. That would cause no fuel to the injectors.
When my CPS failed it was about 19*F and the engine would stumble like it ran out of fuel.
