Got a 89 F150, 302 V8, 4 speed manual. Put in new battery, ran for 2 days and now when turn key in ignition - NOTHING! NOTHING at all, no lights, no dinging, nothing. Acts like there is no battery. Any suggestions?
check to see if battery has a charge before anything. that will tell you either to look at your charging system or starting system, solenoid and so forth
Iam Browndragon. I Have A Similar Problem Related To Pastor E Except My Is A 91 F150 5.8l 351w Efi. I Changed Solenoid,new Starter, Battery Battery Is Ok Solenoid Has Plenty Spark I Just Dont Have A Clue! Its Like There Is No Battery Hooked Up At All! I Am Disabled & Live On A Very Small Chek, I Must Have My Truck Running! It Was Fine Untill We Had A Real Good Cold Snap! Then Everthing Went To Hell With A Quickness. Can U Or Some One Please Help?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????? Thanks Browndragon

In both cases.
This would indicate that the Fuse Link (14GA) coming off the starter solenoid feeding a large (10GA) Black wire with an Orange stripe is open.
A short at or in the Alternator usually causes this Fusible Link to open.
