How The HELL do I fix a lean condition

I got a code 41 from constant memorie, which means lean condition on the right side. I replaced my fuel filter, but I'm still getting the code.

I've got a few questions,
1. How does my truck know that it is on the right side, when there is only 1 o2 sensor
2.How do I fix it?
3.How do I know when it is fixed (how long does it take for the cm to recognize that it is fixed?)

By the way, I have a brand new 302 w/ only 3000 miles and a 3" flowmaster exhaust, I am also running Amsoil synthetic oil. I also have a K&N hi-flow filter.

Right now I am only getting 10mpg according to my odometer, but my speedo might be wrong.

You could try replacing the fuel pressure regulator.

clear it out. It might be old. If it reappears, check your 02 sensor. FPR is a common failure point also.

pull the negative batt lead, and let it sit, then let it run and repull the code.

I know that it is not a wrong code, becuase while I was replacing the fuel filter, I replaced both the positive and negative battery cables, which reset the computer. We replaced my o2 sensor when we replaced my engine, but we might have gotten a bad one, I will have to pull it out and check.

How would I tell if my o2 sensor, or my fpr is bad once i pull them out, are there any visible signs to look for, or do I just need to replace them, Cause I know that an 02 sensor is quite spendy, and I am on a limited income

Thanx for the input everybody

Just to let you know, my CEL turns on, then turns off after about 5 minutes, and then turns on again anywhere between 5min to 20min, or not at all before I get to my destination, I don't know if this means anything or not though

Are the fuel injectors new? Does your truck have a TPS sensor?
