new guy

hey everyone. just ran across this site earlier today, looks like there is a lot of good information out here. i live in KCK and have a 79 F350 supercab 4x4. i am starting to go through the mechanicals and will surely have some questions. it has dana 60s front and rear, 400 motor, c6 tranny, np205 tcase.

truck came from california so most of my time to date has been stripping the emissions out of it. makes a difference for sure.

Yeah, keep in touch with us at the KS. chapter. Also, for engine, tranny, and year specific etc. questions, check the boards. FTE will provide you with expertise in many areas. That is why I'm a supporter of the site. It has paid me back many times over. Also, it is just plain fun.

Welcome to FTE. As others have said, there is a wealth of information here, you can use the search function to find things, if it doens't come up there, ask, someone will know the answer. Fordnut mentioned becoming a member of the Kansas chapter, we have lots of fun, including two get togethers (g2g) each month. On the first saturday of each month, we have a meet in Kansas City, and on the second saturday, in Wichita. Hope to see you at one soon.
