With a COLD engine...
* hose it down, being "gentle" with the electrical components
* spray liberally with Simple Green, and let it set for a while [I go about 20 minutes]
* use a small brush to get the stubborn stuff
* rinse, using above caution
* let dry [a leaf blower speeds this up]
* hit it with some tire foam, and let it dry [that stuff can be flammable, when really wet]
* wipe it down for a even shine
* amaze your friends
