I have a 74 f100 4wd with a 360 soon to be a 390 but the ? is my truck has single shocks on the front and i want to make them into duel shocks. can i put duel shocks on it? If I have to fabricate what parts would i need to accomplish this task
You can do this, and you'll either need to fabricate new shock perches or get a kit if available. Be aware that this will stiffin up your front quite a bit, and in my opinon all you need is a good rancho 5000, or even a 9000 which will do anything you want. Multiple shocks per wheel were all the rage some years ago but you don't see it as often now for good reason. Just a thought...
If your knuckles ain't bleeding you did something wrong.

thnaks for the info biggest reason for the duel shocks i have a hd bumper on the front with a 8000lbs warn winch on it. i already have ranco 9000's on my truck
I'm kind of surprised your R9000s aren't up to the job, but I understand how a heavy duty bumper and winch can really load up the front end. I remember many, many moons ago in high school shop class a kid welded up a heavy duty bumper for his truck. He manuvered it into place with a forklift, bolted it on, and when he lowered the forklift his front end totally bottemed out from the weight of his monstrous creation. We all thought it was pretty hilarious at the time. I don't know of any kits for your job, but any good welder should be able to hook you up. If you find a kit let us know, just out of curiousity.
