The also show up on eBay frequently. But, be prepared to beak out the big bucks :-) They are kinda proud of them.

Are you looking for just a block or complete engine? Aftermarket blocks can be had from Genesis (posted above) and Robert Pond. Pond has no website just an email addy. Keith Craft is a dealer for both of these and sells both bare blocks and complete engines. KC has a Genesis new sideoiler block machined and ready to go on ebay right now. Also check out Southern Automotive. Bill Parham at one time had the largest collection of 427 blocks known to man. www.southernautomotiveengines.com But only sells complete engines.... Be careful if you shop for a used Ford block and stay away from anything needing a sleeve, windowed, cracked/welded or a tired .030. There is better stuff out there.

nah man its true ive cheked everything out it is the real deal. see this guy used to be the head mechanic for ford over 20 years so he has accumulated some stuff. and is basically giving it away. he also has top oilers, 429's, 428's, 390's, and other engines and heads and trannies. and various other parts and pieces to our old trucks and thier engines. heck he traded my buddy a 429 out of a police interceptor with a set of dove heads. for a ford 9 inch rear and a set of bud wheels. im gonna try to work a deal out with him on the side oiler or even a top oiler this summer cause i really want one.

Get one (or two!) while the gettin's good! That's an excellent price if they're in good condition.

Get a side oiler and then come back and we'll tell you how to build it.

Unless your running Daytona all day why exactly do you want a side oiler? A top oiler will do just as good unless you plan on some high rpm racing. Not being smart just a curious question is all.

the question is not why have one.... but why not have one. hell ill try to score a side oiler and a top oiler. ill stuff the side oiler in a falcon or sumpin and the top oiler in my truck. hell you get wierd looks from people when you say ya thats a 427 side oiler. cuase they donot know what it is. and also y be a comformist? y not have some thing no one else does. remember conformity is the disease rebellion is the cure.
