no start

no start

any one help
i was driving and m y b2 started to bog and the check engine light started to flash. i tow it to my work and put a new fuel pump in it but theres no power to the pump
any ideas

p.s. i need a rear end for my 89 bronco 2 i thinks its a 373 rear end
let me no

well, as ive read in my moms jeep cheorkee manual ( not in my bronco ii's sence it dosent have the check engine light lol) that when the check engine light flashes major powerloss and/or catilitic converter damage will soon occur / is occuring.


I assume this would mean the same for you. There is most likley an injector problem, or some thing else that is controlled entirely by the ECU that has failed or not functioning properly. May even be a bad ECU together.

Welcome to FTE!!!

Have you tried checking the inertia switch, power to the fuel pump relay, replacing the FP relay?

oh yeh lol no/low fuel prssure would possibly yeild the same results lol

let me no
Check your fuel pump relay and inertia switch under the dash.you should hear your fuel pump for a second or two when you first key the ignition.When my fuel pump failed I did not get any check engine light,is there a reason you think it is the fuel pump?

i found the problem the ecu had lost its ground, and the pigtail for the fuel pump was messed up and corroted thanks for the help
