D30 front brakes
According to JBG catalog, the spindles are different 66-72 & 73-75, the hubs are different from 66-69 1/2 & 69 1/2 -75 but the drums appear to have stayed the same. The inner and outer bearings appear to be the same.
How could you identify the differences when dealing with used parts?
The problem I'm having is the new brake shoe outer edges are lightly contacting the inner edge of the drum. Should I just have the outer vertical edge of the drum machined for clearance?
Advice?? (other than scapping the 30)
