'86 bronco2 problem --- engine got no power
cheers guys
if anyone knowledgeable could drop a few lines that would be really great
thank you
we have this 86' bronco II sitting in front of the house, and the car is ready to ride, wiring, liquids all roger, new battery too, but the problem is once the engine started there is no power. it is hardly rolling in 1 or 2 gear.
my friend thinks it could be only a valve problem and is worth fixing.
what do you think ? is it worth putting time and money in ?

from seeing what the bronco II can do, and how long the engine lasts if you take care of it...i would say yes its a good idea to rebiuld it. I sure would for mine if it had a valve problem. Sure it is a valve problem though, theres alot of posts that come here about loss of power and not many ever seem to do with valves
Welcome to FTE!!!
I would start finding the problem by checking the compression, pulling the codes and testing the fuel pressure. I have a link on pulling the eec-iv codes in the tech info thread at the top of this forum.
