78 460 Head gaskets
Are Alumium Head gaskets required on a 460 ,78 Long Block rebuild?A buddy of mine asked me,so I thought I'd put it to yall.He had a complete rebuild,and after 2600 miles,she "blew"!Gotta wait till tomorrow to see what happened ,but the original Mec.says Not Head gaskets.One "Expert" says Aluminum MUST be used.Have no other details till tomorrow.Just would like to know if anybody knows:Must Aluminum Head Gaskets be used on a 460?
