Cold temperature starting issues...

its been a loooong time since ive had to troubleshoot engine starting problems. seems the past while my truck is getting harder and harder to start. the past couple times it actually just hasnt started.

what should i start looking at now. its turning over and you can hear it fire once or twice every few seconds but other than that its just turning over. first thing i was going to look at was a frozen fuel line but it wouldnt make sense if the few times it was hard to start that it would run fine all day after i managed to get it started. its backfired pretty badly a couple times when trying to start it.

i think im going to look at plugs next and maybe clean the MAF, not sure if its going to help or not. i think its just time for a rebuild. its got 235,000 km on it now.

any other ideas?
