78-79 Grill/Headlight Insert Decision
I'm trying to decide between new Argent (silver and black) or Chrome grill/headlight inserts.
Does anyone have good pictures of a '78 or '79 pickup with either the Argent or Chrome grill/headlight inserts in their gallery (preferably w/square headlights)?
My pickup currently has the Argent inserts (though very, very faded).
Also, any thoughts on the grill inserts from LMC versus Jeff's Bronco Graveyard?

Right now I have the black and chrome grill with the black headlight doors. I am going to do the chrome this summer. I got mine off ebay. Do a search 79 ford truck. They seem to be on there all the time. Erv

My truck doesn't have alot of chrome, so I would say it looks better with the chrome inserts. You can go to my gallery to see the chrome grille surround, and chrome inserts, or scroll farther down and see the black grill surround and chrome inserts.

My headlight surrounds are chrome too. IMO they look better than black, but can also overpower the front-end to have too much chrome out front. I'm looking for a decent way to black out the whole headlight pocket (w/ a removable plexiglass cover). Did this once w/ some hand-made plexi over just the headlights, but didn't like it.
