Smile A fool am I

Well, I feel like a right nitwit after shooting my mouth off about the diferences between the M series blocks versus the W and C blocks and being wrong about just about everything. I listened to too many different people and wound up with an incomplete picture at best. After sitting down and reading through a couple of articles on the subject, I have found the light and now understand not only the differences but why Ford did what they did durring the production run. I haven't posted for awhile out of sheer embarassment about my own ignorance but now that I have a little better understanding of these things I'd like to thank you all for not calling me a complete and utter idiot.

LOL..a very misunderstood subject claims another victim. Happens all the time in the world of Ford engines...that is one reason I like them so much.

Consider yourself redeemed. It takes a bigger person to admit when you've made a mistake. By the way, funny post....

don't worry, you're not the only one! the fact that you took it upon yourself to educate yourself says a lot more about you than the little mistake you made. there are those that will not see the facts even when presented to them in black and white, they just want to hang on to what they "know". as much as i am into these engines i still get things wrong sometimes, but if that's what it takes to learn, that's what it'll have to be. thanks for joining the team!
