I have a 98 F-250LD with the 5.4L engine. It now has 121K miles and is still running very good.
I was wondering: now that these engines are beginning to get some age on them if there is a problem of corrosion that is being caused by the aluminum head and cast iron block? Mine seems to have developed a drip and doesn't seem to be coming from any hoses.
If corrosion problems are developing in these engines, is the problem in the area of the head/block interface?
