hey i have a 76 f250 single cab 2 door and was wondering if you guys have any tricks to make putting carpet in easier? i have a chunk of carpet i am using just wondering for pointers

Usually automotive carpet is molded for the application. Otherwise get out the knife, needle, and thread. Cardboard templates help. Start in the center.

well if you are just using off the shelf carpet it will never work right.

I too thought I would try using carpet I already had... Bad idea. It is not formed to the pan of your truck and will buckle, etc. I gave up and ordered a "pan formed" pre-cut kit from AAA auto.. Love it!
