Coolant Issue

I have a 79, F-150 2 wheel drive automatic.
Put remanufactured radiator in, and now the coolant is red.

The tranny fluid seems normal, but i am leaning toward it being tranny fluid mixing with the coolant, making it red. Is that what it is???
Help, thanks ........Sixshooter..................

Was it green and now red or did someone put Dexcool in it?

Take a sample and if the red stuff floats on top of the rest of the coolant it is probably tranny fluid.

More than likely

What color was the coolant that was put in the rad?

There always seems to be a new colour coming out in the industry

Usually oil and coolant make WHITE stuff

I dont remember what color it was. I hope it was just red fluid to begin with.
The sample seemed to be red coolant, as far as I could tell.

Thanks ...............Sixshooter..................
