Timing for a 302

Timing for a 302

Hope this is the right forum. When setting the timing on my 95 150, it says to unplug the 'spout connector'. What is that? Thanks, David.

Find the wires coming out of the distributor. Follow them away from the distributor, and along the way you will find a single wire with a plug or jumper plug in it. Pull this plug out, and that will disconnect this spout wire. What this does is take the timing control away from the computer, so you can have control and set it by loosening the dist and turning it.
