I just got my 06' F250 XLT 6.0 PSD CC LB FX4 and friggin LOVE this thing! I read a lot of posts here and it seems a lot of folks are disenchanted with their trucks as they have had or are having major issues. Surely there MUST be some happy owners out there like myself who use their trucks as a daily driver and tow a toyhauler once a month or so. Anybody out there?

Keep in mind that when folks have problems they come to places like this. Everyone I know that has one of these beasts just loves em too. Also, if you will be frequenting this forum, remember that owners of competitor trucks will post negative garbage to cause a stir. These people are affectionately known here as trolls.
Only believe the feeling you get when you get to drive your new ride.

 

I've owned mine from 4/03 and love this truck. I got worried reading all the negative post on here and elsewhere but after a while you just tune it out(kinda like the kids fightning) go enjoy your truck.

Great truck and couldn't be happier. Only reason I may get rid of it is to move to a crew cab if/when we get kids.

Yes, they're the people on this site who own 6.0's, but do not post threads asking for help in resolving an issue because they don't have one. And just post whatever help they can. And the thousands upon thousands of people who own 6.0's and haven't found this site because they aren't surfing the net looking for answers to their 6.0 woes, because they're happy. This is a great site with a lot of members, but even with the number of threads that list problems, it's still only a tiny snapshot of the 6.0 owner population. There have been more 6.0's sold than the membership number of this entire board. For anyone to try and draw a conclusion about the 6.0 as a whole based on what they read in just one forum of this board, either already has a predetermined opinion, or they just like being wrong.

 

Only drive mine a few days a month (15,000 miles atm) but can't say anything but good about mine. Love it.

Love mine too!! Had it a year (11000 miles) with the only problem being an intermittent SES light (which I can make come on).

 

My 2nd one now - first was an early 03, this one is a 05. Gotta say I love them both!!! The only thing I don't like about it is I don't get to drive it enough!
