I just bought a 04 F250 with a 6.0. Its belonged to a good friend & has been taken great care of all its life. I really like the truck. Its real fast. It came with a Hypertech model 41042 programmer. Put me in the group that loves their 6.0.

I have 2 an 04 excursion and an 05 king ranch, no problems and could not be happier. They sure beat the heck out of my former 7.3's

I loved mine, until I started having problems. Now I've got one the dealer can't seem to get fixed and I keep thinking...should've just went with the V10. When the warranty runs out these repairs are going to be EXPENSIVE!

My 2004 6.0 Has only been in the shop one time for a transmission flush. The truck has 59000 miles on it with absolutely no problems!

04 fx4 lifted. 60k miles. truck has never left me stranded. even when i fried the tranny with big HP numbers, it still got to the shop under it's own power. been running it at almost 500hp since october and the tranny build and NOT ONE problem. the only complaint i have is that there are a couple super duties here that are faster, but not for long.

+1

(Except for the V10 part - never wanted one.) I wanted the diesel, and I got it, and a truckload of headaches with it. Now I'm out of warranty and I'm afraid to drive it.

82K and one EGR valve replaced, that's all. Still wish the mileage was better, but pretty happy overall since the SCT install.
