Has anyone ever ordered any tools from Cartools.com? They have some very good prices on their name brand air tools, much cheaper prices on their CP and Ingersoll Rand tools then what I have seen anywhere else. It seems like a "too good to be true" type of thing. Thanks!!
I'll give them a shot, I haven't ordered anything yet, still looking around for the best prices. Judging by others responses I guess you guys must have cheaper prices on your tools at your local stores than what I have where I live. Maybe Cartools.comn isn't that cheap compared to other places on the internet but compared to what I am used to seeing they are very reasonable. Thanks for the advice.
Look around a little farther. I didn't say the local sources were cheaper, I have just bought cheaper online.
Use Google search to look for suppliers for whatever tool you are looking for. Check eBay also, just watch your shipping costs and return policies wherever you buy. Sometimes a local source is better for support and returns. Sales taxes support your local schools and streets. Always do your research b4 you buy. I have seen online sources higher then locals and I have seen eBay auctions go for higher than the highest online or local prices... Insane!
As a general rule if the locals can deliver the goods and have a total price including taxes within 110% of total delivered price of what I can buy online I go local, no questions asked. Of course there are other considerations mentioned above.
Thanks for using FTE!
