There seems to be a lot of new guys coming to the board lately but, like quite a few old timers here, they haven't created a gallery with pictures of their truck. Most times when some one talks about their truck whether it's a question about parts availability, a mechanical problem or just to brag about their latest acquisition or latest update, it's nice to be able to check out the truck. Please, if you haven't already done it, create a gallery even if your truck is basically a pile of parts. We need to see, we're a nosey bunch.
I don't update my gallery much, but I did start a 'blog to track my trials and tribulations, kind of like Earl's World and Kevin's sites. Anyone else doing this?
I joined a while ago (2002) and put a couple pics up at that time. I just added a few more and as I am about to finally start my project will post picture updates as it progresses. I also will be doing a blog, but before I post a url for it I want to make sure I keep it updated for a while.
I do agree that is nice when folks update thier galleries. It is fun too see how others are progressing and what they are doing.
I have to agree with bobj49f2, no matter what condition your truck is in put it into a gallery. i enjoy viewing other members trucks and it doesn't matter if it's a show truck, daily driver or something like my truck is now, a pile of parts. post what you have because some of us nosey guys he! he! he! could use some ideals on our projects.
I have been trying to get the Gallery set up, but when I go to create albumn I can't seem to find where to upload pics and then it just goes back to the setup page. I read the Faq's but I can't see anything else to click on.

I myself haven't updated my gallery in quite a while but I haven't been able to do much on any of my trucks for a while. It's either no money or no time, and no money As soon as I can get something done I'll update my gallery.
I also have a web site, www.fatfenderedtrucks.com I haven't updated that either because of the "no time" factor but, like my trucks, hope to update that sometime soon too.
It just really seems to help relate to someone situation if you can see their truck, I don't know why, it just does.

I had the same problem. I don't remember the excat steps, but, once you create the gallery, then go into edit for each one, then below the gallery information screen will be 5 boxes or cells with a browse button next to it. Click on the button, then go find your picture, then when you have selected them, hit the upload.
I have a few of my 78 f100 in there, I will have to get some of my 89 Ranger and the Cab extention I just done on it.
I have to say, I have viewed some of the galleries, and I am very impressed by the quality of work some of you are doing. First Rate.
Don,
This is a bit long winded but it might help you;
Click on “User CP” In the next page that comes up there is a box titled “Control Panel” underneath where you clicked on “User CP” Click on “Edit Gallery” In the next page that comes up there is a blue shaded box with “Create Album” in bold blue lettering Click on “Create Album” In the next page that comes up you have several boxes that you have to fill out, You have to have a title and a description for the album, then you con select several options in the boxes below that. After you have filled out the boxes there is a button ot the bottom of the page that says “Create Album” Click on “Create Album” The page that comes up looks like the one that came up when you clicked on “Edit Gallery” except now there is the album with whatever you titled it listed under the blue shaded box in a gray shaded area labeled “Albums In Your Gallery” with [Edit] [Delete] in front of it. Click on [Edit] The next page that comes up has the album information showing the selection boxes, you can change or edit info if you need to. Scroll down, underneath this is a place that says “Add Photo (s) To Album” with 5 boxes and 5 buttons that are labeled “Browse” Click “Browse” A box will come up that lets you scroll through your computers directory to find the file you want to upload. Select the file, repeat as necessary. When you have your pics selected; Click on “Upload” This may take several minutes depending on your connection speed. The page that comes up next looks like the one that came up when you clicked on [Edit], but now if you scroll down you will see the pics you added. You have now created an album. Up at the top of the page in the middle you can click on [Main] to take you back to the “Create Album” page or you can go back to the forum or wherever.
My gallery is not much, but I am proud of the website I set up. There is room for others and a more detailed discription of their projects. So far, only one other member has put his project there, and I have 300 megs to fill.
Also there is an area where I am working on some technical articles - just click on "FTE" on the home page to view my progress. You will need to use the user name "fte" and the password "weld".
OK. I finally posted some pics. But they are a couple of years old. I will try to take some more current ones soon and also get a picture of the engine compartment. I do enjoy this forum, but don't post very often.
