Without making clear what your goals are as far as how your truck is to be used, what your priorities are, your question as stated will only draw a blank.
If you said I want to build a desert racer you'd get one set of answers. If you said I want to build a mud bogger you would get a different set of answers. If you said I want to get a mild performance increase, again a different set of answers.
If you were to specify a budget a certain amount of money and make clear what you wanted to accomplish, then you would certainly get the answers you would appreciate.
As it is, your question is vague. So you have to help us help you. But the answer you got is a good one for the way your question was asked.
sorry ,all i wanted to know is wut companies have good performance parts for the 300/6 ,i already checked out all the sites that sponser this site, but i would like to know the opinion of wut parts companies are best, from the people who used the parts,i am not looking to build a certain kind of engine all i am looking for is opinions on engine parts, thankyou, now is this good enough?
a couple companies sell aftermarket, being clifford performance and offenhauser. the latter is cheaper $$$. holley 390 cfm carbs w/ lokar throttle cable kits, chev straight 6 rockers for higher lift instead of swapping cam, and 87-on efi exhaust manifolds w/walker downpipe. there are other options, but you should find most all this found searching thru this forum.
the reason you were told to do a search is because this question is asked on this site probably once every other day. since there have been many posts on this subject you will find things in the archives that we would forget to post for you. by reading the archives you will see what other people built and put together and the combinations that they use.
