Sear`s

Nancy picked up a new Sear`s Annual ToolBook 2006 from their store for me today. Have`t had time yet to look all through it, I`ll do that after the weekend and if I see anything real interesting report back.

I was gonna say, "what does Sears have to do with Ford trucks", but tools is a good enough excuse. I just hit Princess Auto yesterday and managed to make it out having spent LESS than $25! can you believe it!

Sears have decent tools, good prices when on sale but their`re not at the top of my list. Canadian tools are and the location/parking are alot more convenient for me.

I like canadian tire tools too. They don't talk to highly of them anymore in the garage and workshop forum.

Can`t please everyone, for the price/warranty I think they are hard to beat. I haven`t had any problems with Candian Tire tools and in the last few years that`s all that I have bought.

I needed a Torx-50 socket one day to get off a seat belt bolt after I broke the one I had bought at Princess and also a Lisle one.I went over to Canadian Tire as it was the closest place and bought the cheapest Mastercraft one thinking that if I broke it I would just return it.I was impressed, it took the bolt off without a problem.I have a set of the Mastercraft Professional series metric and standard wrenches that I just hang on the wall and never use as they are so nice looking I don't want to scratch them.I have a lot of Sears tools as you can generally pick them up at the Sears outlet store in Regina sometimes fairly cheap but don't buy a Craftsman Torque wrenchs as they have a very limited warranty.
