Add A Leafs

I have a 1994 F250 that had add a leafs installed at all four corners. They were in when I bought the truck. My question is in regards to the clearance between the front drive shaft and the transmission crossmember. I have approx 1/4" clearance with the truck sitting on the ground. Is this normal? Do I need to alter the crossmember? With the add a leafs I have about 1"-2" of lift. There are no other modifications to the truck. It rides on 265/75/16 mud terrains, 5.8L, 5 speed. Any help would be great. Thx

I'd say 1/4" of clearance is a big no-no! I take it, that the d-shaft is 1/4" below the crossmember. If so, get a few friends to stand on the front bumper and see if it hits. Or just look on the x-member to see any scratches or evidence that the d-shaft is hitting.

I have about 1/4' between the driveshaft and the crossmemeber. The crossmember has not been altered, there are no marks either on the driveshaft or crossmember to indicate it is rubbing. Would you or anyone else know where to get brackets to drop the crossmember?

Well, it seems that I have a 4" front leveling kit from trail Master and the c;earance issue may be normal. I have to send pictures to Trail Master and speak with a rep to confirm. The rep I spoke with said that all I may have to do is modify the crossmember. I will post the final results...
