Weekend meet
I know there is a thread started somewhere about the meet this saturday/sunday, but just wanted to refresh it abit. I have saturday off and I plan on heading into stoon early to do some shooping at princess auto and might go buy some computer parts. So was there ever a final time for a meet? Place? A before meet meet? haha Anything set in stone yet?

I have a Sat. AM job with the Bobcat and hope to be done by noon so we can get together with Fullcrew7.3 by early Sat. afternoon. Princess Auto or a computer store of your choice will be good places to meet up at. I`ll PM you my cell #. Nothing set in stone yet.....

I'm sorry I will not be able to attend this meet. I start my night shift tonight. But Fullcrew if you are staying at Lauras lodge. I'm only working a few blocks away at university hospital.

Just in our Er we have a security desk at the door. Ask for Glen The guys will know who I"am. I will be the big guy. If you go into the parking lot you will have to pay. It is 24 hrs 7 days that they pay now.

i work 7 to 7 , so I have to leave for work at 6 to get there on time.
Tonight was a busy one. It was nice meeting fullcrew before I got really busy.
Sure get the sympathy of some clients when they see us having to fight beligerant drunks.

Not really. We have to handle combative traumas,. Mostly we deal with Psychiatry patients that are violent or arrested. We also deal with Child apprehensions that social services does, plus what the police bring from their cells and the young offenders that are in custody, and they already have attitude to authority. So you have to be thick skin and keep your cool and there are days that is not easy. Also have to retraining us on self-defense and restraining tactics.
New hires for our job have to pass a physical test like police and firemen and pass the self defense and have graduated from high school and the plan is to up these qualifications more. We are turning into a small police dept. for the health district.
I have been doing this for 25 years and I'm the second longest guard at this job. Most people do not get past 2 or 3 years.
5 more to go and its retirement at 52.
