transfer case fluid??
Well it looks like i will be putting the ol e4od back in this weekend.I drained the tranfer case and need to refill it.Will syn fluid in there do me any good?If i'm not mistaken it is a chain driven t/c so there are'nt any clutches or anything correct?Thanks for any replies.Dave

Dave, I'm using a home brew of 1 qt. Mobil 1 ATF & 1qt. Mobil 1 90w gear oil in my t-case. Read some time ago on another site about a guy having front bearing probs w/a 5 sp and this fixed it.Been in my t-case for about 20,000 miles - so far,so good.
