Question Warped Rotors?

We have noticed that all fords we have owned. deveopled warped rotors and cause the brakes to pulsate. we usualy have to replace the whole rotor without even getting one cut out of them. Is there ant aftermaket rotors or fixes for this?

thanks mike

I have found the problem in the calipers being defective or old, and using brake caliper grease on the brake rails. Another way of keeping the front brakes cool is to grease the rear adjuster on the rear brakes and keeping them adjusted and making sure the brake hard ware on the rear brakes are good.

Use the transmission to perform most of the braking, like I do

Make sure your emergency brake is working and that your rear brakes are properly adjusted. Also, as mentioned use some caliper grease on the slides that the calipers move on. Doing this will keep them free. The reason that you are warping them is that the calipers are not properly serviced and the rear brakes only do like 20% of the braking so you are putting lots of stress onto the fronts.

I learned a lot about brakes there, especially seating new brakes properly. Some on this forum gave it to me and I am just passing it along.
