I understood you to say that you are running your truck with the rocker arm bolts loose as a temp fix for the rocker problem.
STOP! DON'T DO THAT!!
The FE has oiling problems to the main bearings, in stock form they are minimal. Oil circulates thru the rocker arm shafts and stands, a loose bolt will cause more problems that you want to know about.
Do yourself a favor, stop and fix the problem. Even if you have to borrow another car. If you have any doubt, remove the valve cover and idle the engine, look at the oil all over the place!
