internal, external, SFI fluid damper???

You should get an aftermarket rated for 6000 rpm. A fluid damper has been the subject of some discussion hear in the past. If it were to be only a track vehicle the fluid is the way to go. For the street some have said, (a large retailer who does sell them told me as well) that over time the fluid can begin to gel up, especially is it is not driven regularly, and therefore put you out of balance. Others dispute this, but if it's for the street just get wone that is rated above the rpm you will be turning. You want an external balance one as that is what the 351m/400 engine is.

That balancer is by Professional Products. It's an import, but a nice piece. The one they are selling we also have on the self at $64.99, so that's not a bad price. The picture is an SFI unit, as stated the one they are selling is not. They have a spacer that you also purchase depending on your application.
