fuel question

7.3L non-turbo -- If I run out of fuel can I switch tanks and keep going like on a gas engine?

iF THE ENGINE DIES YOU MAY HAVE TO CRANK IT SOME TO GET FUEL UP, BUT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUST SWITCH EM NO SWEAT..

Try not to run the tank dry....the lack of fuel can hurt your IP as it is used as a coolant and lubricant.

If it does run dry and stall, bleeding at the filter head Schrader valve while cranking the starter is required until all air is gone. Starter cranking is limited to 15 seconds per time with 2-5 minutes cool down.

At freezing tempatures you dont want to run the tanks below 1/4 tank
