I'm already living that sort of thing with the VW's You have to remove the entire front end just to gain access to the engine. Fortunatly they design it so it's a quick, easy job and it's not nearly as bad as it sounds. In many ways it makes it easier than working on the older stuff because you can just step up to the front of the engine and work on it like it's on an engine stand.

It looks legit
Looking at the contents (file, properties) of the doc, you can find this:
author: kmeier@ford.com
email subject: 2007 6.4L Diesel Engine Presentation
author email: Meier, Kenneth (K.W.)
and under the doc summary:
author: Bryan Snyder
Company: International

Dunno if this was intended for public consumption, but just a reminder, a good thing to remember next time you write an office doc is this information is imbeded in all office docs unless you convert it to a pdf or take necessary precautions. FYI here's how you can do it:
In Word XP and Word 2003, you can set the Remove Personal Information check

I would think that with the multi spurt injector capability and the dual turbo, the fuel mileage can only increase. An acquaintance I know put a dual turbo kit on his cummins and pulled 16,000 lb trailer to Montana from Pa and claimed that he didnt' have to shift out of overdrive And got about 15 mpg to boot.
I liked the quote that said... "in some cities, the air going out of the tailpipe will be cleaner than the air entering the engine".
If you can't see the power point, you might have to change your setting to allow popups.

well that was quite informational, I wonder where that came from!!!!!! I really dont agree with the service intervals with oil changes, but if the engine runs that clean great. I know that my 99 f-350 running plus-50 John deere 15w-40 oil is still clean at 5000 mile mark & I can still read the dipstick. Thats with 165,000 miles! Sounds like a good engine hope its not another blunder like the first 6.0. Cant wait to test drive
