Slatwall system ROCKS!!
If any of you are thinking of "redoing" or maybe even starting to organize your workshop or garage, I highly recommend Slatwall. I opted for the cheaper MDF variety (the vinyl is WAY too expensive for my liking). It comes in sheets 4x8, is pregrooved and mounts really easy. The accessories get pricey, so I sort of mixed and matched the shelving for it. I bought the actual slatwall shelf brackets, but went to Lowe's and bought the wire shelving there (saved a ton). Rather than having the metal shelving all over the garage I now have everything up off the floor and within easy reach. I wish my wife would let me do our bedroom in the stuff....could make it wickedly organized. I'll have to settle for the closet instead.

Yea I agree with you on the slats. Looks good and very functional. My dad just built a 40x40 shop and he did the whole thing almost with this stuff. Really cheep also. There was a strip mall that went out of bussiness and they had to clear everything out and he talked them into selling him each sheet for $4 if we took it down. Loaded up the car trailer with it and the stuff was in like new condition......Looks great!!!!
