Got two more gauges to hook up?

The brown truck just delivered my new under dash pod and two Autometer gauges. Oil and water, both electric.
I found a plug on the water pump just to the right of the factory one so I'm good there.
I read somewhere on this site that there is a plug on top of the oil filter housing that will work and there is also a plug on the top of the HPOP that would give a more accurate reading but it takes some sort of special adapter fitting to make it work there.
Anyone know anything about that fitting or should I just go with the filter plug.
Thanks in Advance

That filter plug is a handy location. I would set up a "T" into it because u may want to put in bypass oil filtration too and that's an excellent spot to connect too. The fitting is pretty standard NPT stuff. I think it's 1/4" but don't quote me.

Thanks Nut, that does sound like a good idea. Seems like my things to do list never gets shorter.
