460 engine swap

Can you fellas help me with this question. I have a 1992 F250 460 efi. The engine in my truck was abused by the original owner, and most of the mechanics that have looked at the truck feel that it has a broken piston, or broken rings. I have located a 460 motor from a 1994 F250. Will the 1994 engine work with the 1992 computer and wiring harness? Are there any other changes I would have to make?

Yes. Plug and play.

Do yourself a small favor though, and if you can get it, take the 94 EEC and plug that in as well. It has a better timing curve than the 92 computer.
