I'm a Ford man from way back anybody ever do one? Made out of a tire?

No, but I have seen a kit to replace your worn out one at the parts house for about $10.

[font color=red size=2]Our local NAPA has them for about $10 also. It's money well spent, compared to the time you would have invested into making one. - IMHO, of course...
