door latches problem
hello to every body. I have a 2002 Excursion and a 1999 F 250 and have problems on both. The door don't lock properly and I check them and the problem are the latches. If somebody could please advice me where in the internet could I buy them. apologies if writting is not well done.

Go into a bit more detail. Do you have power locks and they are performing well or weakly? Or is it the actual latch where the door hooks onto the body not catching and staying closed? And, if so, how do they not work? Do your doors not stay shut? Or is it more of a locking problem?

Ok thanks for your reply. The problem I have is the latch has a little of play, and the door hooks onto the body well, but when driving I can hear air noise. Also when driving on dirt road or bumpy road the doors make a lot of noise because they are not completely thight.The excursion has power locks and it works perfect. The F 250 is manual. I took it the the dealer and the problem I was told is the door latches need to be replaced, but they sell over a 100 dlls. each. I need 8 for EX. and 2 for the F 250 plus 50 dlls to install each one. do you imagin what is the total. Somebody in the dealer told me I can get it by 35 in the internet. I bought the manual and it is not real dificult to install them. Hope this help a little more. Waiting for answers. Thanks .
