I need to adjust the switch on the column to operate the back up lights. If I move the switch with my finger all the way to the drivers side, the back up lights will come on. With the switch adjusted this far over, I will not be able to get it over to park. Are there any instructions or diagram of how this should be adjusted? This is a '76 F250 Super Cab w/ 460 and C6.
Thanks,
Mike
It may just need to be readjusted. There is a small hole in the switch that you need to put a small drill bit in and do somthing or another to fix it. If you have a haynes or chiltons repair manuel, it would tell you how to adjust it. If not, wait alittle while and get Mil1ion to tell you how, he's the one that told me.
So Mil1ion, your saying, just loosen the bolts holding the NSS on the colum, then move the switch till the drill bit goes completly through, then leave it there while you tighten the bolts back?
I riged mine to work for start up, but my reverse lights still don't work.
