I have a 1997 F-350 5-speed with an open air intake and downpipe. I am looking to install a chip and gages. I need help deciding on what kind of chip I need/want and also infomation on some gauges.
I do some towing on the weekends so I want something with a towsafe setting but also something I can turn up a little through the week when cruising campus. Any information would be great. Thanks
well i have the same truck and used to have the same setup. i have a TS flip chip. works wonders. even works well with my new setup. i used to tow my boat and jeep on the 75 setting all day long. i bought two of the same setups and installed it on mine and my dads trucks. for gauges we both went autometer. i have ultra lites and he has hmmmmm(well i cant remember) they look close to factory though. you definitly want the gauges tho. personally one mod turns into one more mod...... if i could do it all over again i would of called the wildman to begin with...keeps the cost down. basically do it right the first time is all i'm trying to say. cause its addicing..
but really you cant go wrong with ts, tony wildman, jody tipton chips.
