You can't correct the speedometer with any tuner on a V10. You can with other Fords. The V10 needs to have the speedometer corrected either by a dealer, or external to the computer with a Superlift Truspeed. Changning tire size/gear ratio parameters on the V10 only impacts shift characteristics.

speedometer correction

its is listed that the 9415b supports this option. it asks for revs per mile which should correct it. why is it not doing it, why ask this parameter if its not going to do it

It only changes the shift characteristics --- no tuner can change the V10's speedometer calibration (its a common topic in these forums), its has to do with the V10's speed sensor type. The V10 must have its speedometer calibrated by a dealer or externally with a Superlift Truspeed. We list this tuner as not all features available on all applications.

Unhappy speedometer

ok then if this just changes the shifting then what is it exactly doing when i enter 598 according to specs of my tire in relation to not changing the #. also in this day of computers iit would seem if this tuner does all these things it would seem pretty simple to be able to make this change. i also feel that in the future every tuner should have a listing as to what it is capable of doing. dont get me wrong this tuner does make more power but to not have this feature not listed makes me a little peeved as this was one of my major reasons for getting it. guess i will have to go to the dealer every time i want to change my tires. next question is why doesthe 6.0 diesel have the tire size option aas well as many other options such as lock up in 1 2 3 and this is not supported on mine. a torqshift trans is the same for both. not mad but a liitle upset, guess i cant have my cake and eat it to

The reason it can't be changed is because the gas Super Duty has a different speed pickup than other Fords. What is changing is the shift strategy when you change the size.

Our experience is that anything more than one page of information on a tuner page (or any product page) and people won't read it at all, at least most don't. We used to have a huge FAQ (frequently asked questions) on our web site 99.9% of the questions we received after posting the FAQ were.... you guessed it, covered in the FAQ. Basically, the tuner is changing the feature in the computer... but the computer has to be able to use it.
