I Just Bought Four Cab-to-frame Mounts For A 67 F-100. Does Anyone Have Experience Taking The Old Mounts Out And Inserting The New Ones? How Do We Lift The Frame To Extract Old Bushings And Install New Ones? Thanx!
Jowilker, what is WOFP? I would personally lift the cab to replace the mounts. It wouldn't matter how high you lifted the frame unless you have your truck up side down. Take out your bolts, use a floor jack and a 4x4 piece of steel to jack up your cab. New bolts are a great idea.

Dear friend, I have no idea, but like thesprocket26 it's what the poster used as a screen name.
I presumed that WOFP's truck was still together and in use. One wouldn't want to seperate the front clip from the cab to install new rubber mounts. The cab and clip have 6 mount points, 4 under the cab and 2 under the radiator support. Using a floor jack as you suggested and lifting the rear of the cab as I suggested with the radiator support still connected should allow you to slip the old pieces out and the new in. IMHO In My Humble Opinion
Lifted cab and knocked out old mounts forward. Unfortunately the LMC bolts are too long and there is a lot of play in the newly installed mount set. The bolt is 3 and 3/4" long, and it looks like it is about 3/4' too long. Does anyone have an idea. Perhaps I ordered the wrong set, but i don't think so...Maybe replacing the long bolt with a shorter one will suffice...?
Combined bushings and hardware for fore and aft cab mounts to successfuly install two middle cab mounts. Had to "whiz wheel" one rusted bolt off. This week, I want to order two more mounts---the ones furthest forward and outboard of the radiator---but I'm a bit leery of the LMC hardware now. Does anyone have a better source for new and proper fitting cab mounts?
