reflector set

reflector set

I just pickup one of the accessory reflector sets that were options. can anyone tell me anymore about these? were there 3 or just 1 flag? anyone know how they attach? also mine need a good cleaning and polishing. the box is alum so i can handel that but the reflectors are plastic and some kind of plating i think. i dont want to screw it up so help would be great. thanks here is a picture ebay item 4611999526

That set is incomplete. There should be three flags and three long pieces of rod that have a spring middle section so they can be "folded' to fit inside the flare tin box. The flags were placed onto the rods and the rods go on the reflectors.

Also the orignal instructions are missing. For years I had a copy in my set, then I bought another set with the orignal paperwork still inside.

any way i could get a copy of the instructions and maybe a picture of the flags/poles? thanks

You know I havent forgot about the windshield washer pics too! I keep saying to myself "when I have time" but it just never happens. I still have your email and address. I promise I will get this stuff to you whenI can.

There was a complete set on ebay that ended last week that I had in my watch list, but I cleaned up my ebay list and deleted it. It sold for about $120 and was complete and sure was pretty!

when I got my truck from my Grandfather there was a relector flare kit under the seat but it was red and did not have the FORD name and logo on it. It was a Grote reflector set. Don;t know if maybe the dealer through it in. I don;t think Grandpa would have bought an after market set himself!
