gas tank location
I have a 1978 f-250 and i was wondering if it had two tanks original tanks. Right now all i have is one in the rear behing the differential. Its maybe a 20 gallon. I am just wondering cause it had a two tank switch in the cab. If there is another tank thats supposed to be in it, where does it go??

It should be between the cab and the first cross bar in the rear of your frame (under the bed). The most obvious is the 2 gas receptacles on the driver side of your bed. Just crawl under your truck in that area and look around.

The dash panel could have been switched also. You could change the heater controls to one without the switch if you wanted.
