starter button
is it possible to install a starter button on a 1980 ford f-150? none of the wires in the steering column seem to make the starter motor crank. any advice would be appreciated. thanks. mike

i have a starter button on my '86. the start position quit working, installed a new ignition switch, adjusted, re-adjusted, still no dice. so in went the starter button. just make sure you install a fuse between the button and the power source. then run your lead to the starter solinoid.
