Difference in height between PSD, V10, V8

A friend and I bought the same truck, his an F350 with PSD long bed, mine an F250 with V10 short bed. Mine sits one inch higher in the front than his, one inch lower in the rear (he has a 5th wheel hitch). Anyone else notice this?

the 350 has 4 in blocks between the axel and the leafs in the rear. The 250 has only 2 inchers. As for the difference,in the front, I am not sure. It could be due to the additional weight of the PSD. I was always under the impression the 350 rode slightly higher in the front.

Yep, just meausred mine and my buddies the other day, mine being a F250 V10 CC SB 4x4 and his an F350 CC LB 4x4. mine sits 1.5" higher in the front and 1.5-2" lower in the rear. I also notice they ride and drive completely different. his seems to lope along where mine will rebound quick (almost jarring) and be done. Even steering around corners has a different feel, that extra weight is definitly noticable. ours are both 03's.

Check the sticker on the door jamb... the trucks probably have different springs up front. Check the front gvwr. Your truck might have the snow plow prep springs or heavy service sus. and his might just have the regular ones.

If you want to have your truck sit higher in the rear just swap your 2" block for a 4" 350 block.

SLE,
I'm sure the differences in wheelbases make the ride different...

yeh that helps but that extra weight up front also adds to how it lopes along when going over sequensial bumps. One other note is the "rake on mine is noticeable but not to bad, on his it is very pronounced (hence why he is adding a leveling kit to it). I feel like I'm looking at the ground when I drive his vs mine.

Both trucks have the regular service springs.

SLE and I are the only ones that noticed this, or measured??? Maybe it's a fluke, eh?
