Hey all,
noob is back with another question. I did a search and gave up after about 25 pages. My 1980 F-150 4 X 4, 302, c-6 has the factory tach, but I've only seen it work once.(going down the I-state, I noticed it working). It hasn't worked since.
I can't find anything in my haynes book diagram, other than a reference to "tach only". It doesn't show any wires going to a tachometer.
Can y'all give me any help on checking the wiring to and from? It'd be nice to have a working tach.
In 1980, a DG-Y dot wire runs from the coil to the tach and a BK/LG dot wire runs from the tach through the Duraspark module to the distributor ground.
