Have 1993 F350 diesel 2wd dual wheel extended cab, 1,360,000 miles on chassis, 70,000 miles on Jasper 7.3, 60,000 miles on auto trans. I bought truck from a couple that used it for 6,000 miles and had trouble with the trans, so they bought a chevy to tow their fifth wheel. When I bought the truck it had 200,000 miles showing on the odometer. Found out later the truck had been used for RV transport for ten years and actually had 1,200,000 miles on it. I used the truck for RV transport myself logging 100,000 miles in 8 months and decided actual costs were to much to be profitable. I installed a complete new rear end (4.10 locker) including new brakes, Front brakes w/calipers, new U joints, vacuum pump, radiator, trans oil cooler, power steering pump, starter, alternator, lift pump, belts, hoses, lift pump, batterys and recently I installed new glow plugs.

I have been through blizzards in Nebraska, 30 below nights in North Dakota, hail, sand and gravel storms, ice, wind, bad fuel, both tanks filled with no-lead(drove it 250 miles through desert sounded like it had no exhaust manifolds)The truck has always started without pluging it in. I have always used no. 2 fuel with Flow Max Starter. Never had a gel problem. The only complaint I have is with power in the mountains with 12,000 lb. fifth wheels on with head winds of 20 mph or more. But the truck has always got over the pass even if I had to drive the shoulder at 20mph in low gear.

Truck is rusty, but it's trusty. I plan on putting another 15-20,000 miles on it pulling my own race car trailer and 30 foot camper without too much trouble again this summer.

Thanks for listening to my ramblings. This is a very informative forum. Tom Hamilton.
