Where did you buy your DP chip?
So I was looking (make that drooling) on where to buy one of JT's chips. I wrote him concering my truck and he answered me with a good recommendation. I started the shopping process and found that you can get a DP chip from Beans for quite a bit less than if you were to buy direct from JT.
So you all that have one of Jody's chips: where did you buy yours? Thanks all for the info.

Also Jody sells his switch separately for an extra $35.00 so I'm assuming that Beans sells it separate as well.

ITPdiesel has 6 pos DP-Tuner chip and switch for $474.95

If Bean sells his with a switch then that would be a deal. Let us know if you find out about that kwik.

Kwik,
I bought my chip directly from JT after speaking with him about my specific truck. I got stock, 40, 80, and 120hp settings and paid $330 including switch. I couldn't really dicipher the exact price difference from the link you posted but that's what I paid. I think that's pretty reasonable for the incredible performance I got.

I emailed him and he sent this reply:
Dan,
I think that you would be better off with hi-idle, 40 tow, 60 tow, 80econo, & 120 race. I don't think that you really need to 20hp tow for that ammount of weigh and the 140 would probably be too much.
I really do not see a need for custom tunes with you mods and what you are looking to use the truck for.
Jody
And I think I will simply be buying from him directly when I get the money set aside. That will take a few weeks of saving the extra money here and there. (No credit card policy.)
It WILL be happening before this May, I'm going on vacation to the 4 Corners area and I want that chip installed before I leave.
